My 2009 Xmas

Christmas is a time of giving and celebration.  2009 Xmas for me was of course about Food, Booze and Presents!  Christmas time also means the year 2009 is finishing and a new year is  just around the corner, so please be thankful that we still have abundant of food on the table and a shade over our head.  But this does not mean we should rest on our laurels!  We should strive for better in the coming 2010.  Time to ponder over your 2010 new year resolutions and how to fulfill it? (heheheh..i forgot what is my 2009 resolution! ^.^)

Goodbye 2009 and Hello 2010!

Year 2009 has ended and we welcome a new year.  People say a new year bring about new hope, a new hope for better things to come.  Since year 2009 has ended without a bang i would say, so what is 2010 in store for us peasant of this boleh land, are we going to advance towards a more civilised, corruption free country or another step closer towards a pariah state?  Since our governement always KPI  themselves with a pariah state like Myamar and Zimbawe?

One thing i know for sure 1Malaysia Kitty is empty, the treasury already "Kosong" long time ago.  This is the reason you see the government is so desperate for funds.  Measures taken by "Najis" to fill up back the kitty:

1. more government bond announce, 1malaysia funds, Amanah this! wawasan that! so many funds launch to raise "moolah".  Government bond is like spending credit card money, hopefully in future the government will be able to pay back with its revenue.  If one day our oil reserve runs out, we are doom.

2.  Sugar subsidised reduce RM 0.20, so your teh tarik should hoover around RM 1.60-RM 1.80 per cuppa, while in Singapore you only pay SGD 0.80. (please dun tell me shit that after conversion, our versions were still cheaper!  You are a moron if you think that way)

3.  Price of ciggy going up.

4. GST coming without any decrease in your income tax, so it is a double whammy.

5. RPGT(Real property Gain Tax), luckily Najis government cancelled this measures last minute, giving in to the protest by the Housing and construction sector.

6. Credit card tax.

7. And believe me, i can see another round of petrol price hike in the horizon....brace yourself..
