This expression is always associated to a certain race in our country, representing their laid back attitude towards work and general well being. It has almost becomes a Malaysia cultural thing for both "positive" and "negative".
So is this expression good or bad? In this recent stressful times, it may be a good for you and me. The current rotten politics scenario of our country, the high inflation, the crash of NYSE, the balik kampung traffic Jam. All these will cause your blood boil and thickens and your veins harden. These extra workload will cause your heart to beat harder and it may overheat!
Recently, I am suffering from low concentrations level, occasional dizziness, tiredness and low libido. Sensing things is not right, i finally listen to wifey advice and pay a visit to the doctor.
Wham! My Blood pressure(BP) is 130/90. For the uninitiated, this BP level is pre-hypertension level. It means if this level persisted, very high chance you will move on to hypertension level 1 which required long term medication. BP at 130/90 will also increase you Heart attack risk by 3 fold, potential Kidney dis-order or it may eventually make you impotent .
I was not put on medication at this moment but strongly advised to monitor whether this BP level persisted or not. If the BP refused to go down to normal level(110/70), i will have to make drastic changes to my lifestyle, which means:
1. No more high octance politics input.
2. Booze level have to reduce.
3. No more frequent "roast pork" binge or other equavalent.
4. No more late night!
5. Take things easy- no more cursing to rude drivers on malaysia road!
Damn! high BP definitely takes away a lot of your pleasures in life!
Relax la!...brader!
