"Bolanliap" is a typical hokkien expression, when a layman in my beloved home state, Penang was asked "what are you doing here". For anyone who is not well verse in this beautiful dialect, "Bo" means "no" or "dun have", "lan" means "balls", "liap" means "to play". So "bolanliap" means "no balls to play". Since almost everyone, men or gals certainly got some balls to play with, "bolanliap" means u are really bored!
